Blue is great at drawing cards, counterspells, and other things probably, but sadly, most Blue decks often lean into the same old tried and true spells we have been playing since time immemorial
A 70-damage, two-energy attack is also nothing to sneeze at, and this cards alternate art one-star rare version is a sight to behold, as it shows a determined Pidgeot clutching a helpless Magikarp in its talons with a steely expression on its face

This particular list is very close to the standard build for OP16-022-monkeydluffy, featuring key cards from ST-30 such as ST30-014-mr3-galdino
Even if you mix it with Tri-Brigade, if the Tri-Brigade plays are stopped by Maxx "C", Artifact Lancea, or Ash Blossom, you can still perform Melffy plays as long as you have Wally in your hand, so being able to utilize it as a separate engine like LL-Tri-Brigade is a strength you can push compared to other themes
